TapDrum allows for complete customization due to its clever design. It can be installed anywhere, allowing you freedom to use it where you need it – in a custom box, or a variety of instruments. Adapt it to your environment easily.
Some applications for TapDrum include using it to trigger sound modules for musicians and DJs – for example: a compact drum trigger kit, a pad synthesizer, or an effects module. It can also be used to trigger lights for light shows. Because the sensors respond to pressure, it’s easy to control how bright the lighting is when triggered.
TapDrum is not only limited to sensor triggers. Because of its design, the sensors can easily be replaced with potentiometer knobs to turn TapDrum into an audio mixer, a MIDI VST Plugin controller, or to control video effects.
